I know, I know....I always begin the year full of good intentions and end up almost silent…. But hey!….I have to try, right?
So for 2009 I am planning on having something like a weekly tutorial on my blog and almost daily posts….we’ll see….I’ll do my best….again….promise….
Anyway, I’ve checked the things I’ve done along 2008 and, although I haven’t exactly worked a lot, I think I can’t be accused of being lazy…have a look:
4 purse leather post-it books
3 leather notebooks
8 desktop post-it books
13 bookarts
50 + book marks
9 papier mache baskets
4 papier mache figurines
8 papier mache POTTS
11 assemblage shadow boxes
20 assemblage dolls
22 inchies
4 SoulCollage cards
1 special tarot deck ( 40 cards)
2 mini wreaths
86 quilt squares
1 paper piecing double bed quilt
15 fabric trays
1 crochet rug
7 painted mirrors
3 paintings
12 drawings
155 journal pages
Looking at this list I see how I’ve played with different materials and made so many different things ….This year I am thinking of concentrating on papier mache…I have been in love with it since I was 17 and every time I tried my hand at it I have had good results. So, why not have fun?
To illustrate this post a little, here are two of my 2008 pieces that I like best:
My papier maché Sexy Angel
